Q: Dear Adri,

I’m 34 years old, not married, don’t own a house and don’t really care. I’ve known my boyfriend since I was 15; we’ve been together seriously for 10 years and lived together for six. Lately, I’ve been asking myself whether we are only together out of habit. When I think of him proposing to me or us having a baby, I get a gut feeling that tells me this wouldn’t really work out well, yet when I think about breaking up with him I hate the idea. Should I end it in the hope of finding that ‘one true love’?
